#266 - Why Your Autistic kids, teens and adults don’t accept TherapyHello, and welcome to AUDHD Me and Mo, the podcast talking about autism and ADHD.🎙️ https://open.spotify.com/show/24fVt6FsR44mJXDgxlaRtz?si=zeQ4THfhQqOwHVwyCow9CgToday, I discuss gestalt therapy—its undertones, its meanings, and why autistic individuals, whether they’re kids, teens, or adults, often don’t take to certain therapy modalities. That can include gestalt therapy, that can include NLP, just because it comes from an impure beginning. And this impureness radiates through the therapy and doesn’t really line up with any of us with autism.I suggest that light language therapy is much better, because it’s a nervous system communication.I also talk about the ThunderCats a little bit, and about words that have changed with time, and how we’re living in a complete washing machine of life at this point in history. So, this is really for the mothers and fathers of autistic kids—for those who can’t understand why the therapy isn’t working for them.EnjoyFor Light Language Coaching follow the link below:🎧 🧍‍♂️ 1:1 Coaching available: https://stan.store/AuDHDMeandMo

  6. #259 - Partially speaking Keenan with Autism and his mum join me for Light Language (00:18:30)

On the AUDHD Me & Mo The Podcast today, I speak to Keenan a seven year old boy with Autism who is partially speaking.Keenans mother Kira is naturally present as I channel Dragon Light Language through the Dragons Wera, Kaprikorna and Sula.Keenan has difficultly with expressing himself verbally. We find the following aspects very interesting when using 7D-9D light language which connects with our nervous system.I have tailored the light language to be delivered in a couple of verbal paragraphs at a time. Please remember I am actually channeling living, breathing dragons in REAL time. There isn't any script or AI involved whatsoever and this language is the kind that cannot be translated to English.I don't give my clients messages, it is just a frequency. This is what we found when the dragons came in:Dragon Wera - Perked up and concentrated his gaze at the screen.Dragon Kaprikorna - Kennan sat up and had better trunk stability and a neutral head position. He leaned closer to the screen and is much more focused.Sula - Kennan set his head down on the desk to relax. For more information about the dragons please follow me.To book a session, click the link below.🧍‍♂️ 1:1 Coaching available: https://stan.store/AuDHDMeandMoThank you to Keenan and Kira for giving me this opportunity.

  7. #258 - What I learnt from the game EVERSPACE (00:37:56)

In this episode of the AUDHD Me & Mo The Podcast I take out a clipboard, paper and pen and watch my son play a game where you are a pilot of a rogue ship in space and have to get through different levels, collecting containers, fuel and cargo and having conflicts with other rogue nations and spaceships. There were only 3000 copies ever made, so I wanted to get this game before it was no longer avaiable. It reminds me of the times me and my friends went to the arcade to play “Afterburner”. We had the time of our lives so I bought this nostalgia back into my life. It’s interesting how we must place emphasis on:Our energy levels not just to get through the day, but to have at least a simple plan to get through the week. This is made the comparision with the high cost of jumping through hyperspace. There is an AI assitant, which reminds me of the version of “MO” I have guiding me in my life every day.The containers we pick up remind me of the negativity in life we need to release and only hold onto the elements of healthier value. We also can use our landscape to protect ourselves from potential threats. The podcast episode is out now and gives a refreshing POV and a new way of learning as I really don’t want to pick up a book and read it with temperatures hovering around the 35 degrees centrigrade mark.Enjoy

  8. #256 - Video Games can be a great learning curve for Autistics, ADHD’ers and AUDHD - This episode DOOM!!! (00:43:26)

  10. #255 - 7D–9D dragon light language to support non-speaking or partially-speaking autistic kids, youth & adults (00:35:25)

🐉 I channel 7D–9D dragon light language to support non-speaking or partially-speaking autistic adults, acting as a soul-level communicator and energy translator between them and their parents/guardians.I help their unspoken emotions and needs be heard—not just in words, but through shifts in the aura, nervous system, and energetic field. My presence and voice become the bridge between their inner world and the outer one—so they can feel safe, seen, and unburdened. In this episode of the AuDHD Me & MO The Podcast I channel three dragons;🔴 Wera — the Flame of Faith, ❄️ Kaprikorna — of the Winter Crown 🟡 Sula — the Dawnbreaker🔴When you don’t have words, Wera listens with her heart. She reminds you:Your truth is real, even in silence.❄️When everything feels fast or loud, Kaprikorna slows the world down. You can breathe with her.She helps you feel safe in stillness.🟡When everything feels too loud or too fast,Sula wraps the sky in quiet light. She reminds you:Peace is strong, and it is yours.🧬 Why This Is 7D–9D Work for AutisticsBecause your nervous system  • Holds a nonverbal frequency bandwidth that’s far beyond traditional speech • Translates your emotional and sensory states into energetic healing and auric clarity • Works with beings who live in multidimensional sensory realities—many of whom are highly telepathic, sensitive, and often holding crystalline or rainbow soul codesPlease DM me to see if this resonated with you as having Autism yourself, your childrenand if it does, I offer 1:1 Calls for me to bring a neutrality to your non-speaking Autistic kids, youth or adults.https://stan.store/AuDHDMeandMo

  14. #251 - A Critical Look at the DSM-5-TR and Neurodivergent Narratives (00:29:59)

🎙️ New Podcast Episode – A Critical Look at the DSM-5-TR and Neurodivergent Narratives“Autism Spectrum Disorder is diagnosed only when characteristic deficits of social communication are accompanied by excessively repetitive behaviour, restricted interests and insistence on sameness.”– DSM-5-TR, American Psychiatric Association, 2022, p.35This definition still fails to recognise what so many of us live and know deeply:🧠 That our minds operate on different frequencies—Theta, for instance—not dysfunction. Within these frequencies lives Telephany, intuitive knowing that goes beyond the accepted clinical narrative. No surprise that ideas like these are rejected in mainstream psychiatry. Just look at the satire embedded in titles like “The Telephany Tapes” on Spotify—a mockery of Autistic insight and a betrayal of neurodivergent truth. In this episode, I question why:📘 There are hundreds of pages diagnosing Autism, ADHD, and AuDHD…❌ Yet not one comprehensive text exists to diagnose or critique the “Neurotypical Condition.”Fairness? Equality? Open-mindedness? Still waiting. We also explore: • Why “restricted interests” and “insistence on sameness” are far more present in NT culture than acknowledged • The lack of representation of neurodivergent strengths in the DSM • The underreported impact of narcissistic behaviour on Neurodivergents—and how ICD-11 buries this in its final pages • A rare moment of credit: DSM-5-TR’s section on ADHD shows some progress, especially compared to DSM-IVThis is not just critique. It’s a call for better.📣 Neurodivergent people are not test subjects—we are culture-shapers, visionaries, and seers.🎧 Listen now wherever you get your podcasts.#TheTelephanyTapes #NeurodivergentVoices #AutismAcceptance #ADHDAwareness #AuDHD #DSM5Critique #Neurodiversity #MentalHealthReform #PsychiatryDebate #ThetaFrequency #Telephany #AutisticTruth #NeurodivergentWisdom #NarcissismAwareness #ICD11 #AbleismInPsychiatry #PodcastLaunch #NewEpisode #NeurodivergentAndProud

  16. #250 - Episode 4 - DSM-5-TR - Neurodevelopmental Disorders (00:24:32)

Episode 4 - DSM-5-TR - Neurodevelopmental DisordersThis episode just goes through the first two paragraphs of the DSM-5-TR on page 35.I am wearing my noise-cancelling headphones to calm my nervous system today.I think the introduction is written well, but there must be at least 12 people writing the text. This episode will cover Autism and ADHD and identifies the stage of a child before school age. We cover global imparements and executive functions.I am not here to obliterate the DSM-5-TR. I am just here to give a bit more substinence to Autism and ADHD.I discusss my experience of seeing children that are “totally mentally broken” but when I speak to professionals, they know that the home life and the parents are to blame, but nothing is done about themThe children are always the ones who burden the problems of life that are completely out of their control because there is a toal lack of responsibility of the parents and of professionals turning a blind eye!!!In adults, I spoke to L.LShawn Fairly on my podcast about how women (and men of course) can suffer from physical abuse in the home causing ADHD symptoms. Here’s the link:The DSM-5-TR describes Autism - Is an intellitual disabilityADHD - Is a specific learnig disorder*“The American Psychiatric Association: Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition, Text Revision. 17. #249 - DSM-5 Simply Explained. “Cautionary Statement for Forensic Use of DSM-5 (00:18:06)

Episode 3  - DSM-5 Simply Explained. “Cautionary Statement for Forensic Use of DSM-5”“Use of DSM-5 to assess the presence of a mental disorder by nonclinical, nonmedical, or otherwise insuffciently trained individuls is not advised. Nonclnical decision-makers should be cautioned that a diagnosis does not carry any necessary implications regarding the etiology or causes of the individual’s mental disorder or the individuals degree of control over behaviours thta may be assocaited with the disorder. Even when dimished control over the indivudal’s own behaviour is a feature of the disorder, having the diagnosis in itself does not demonstrate that a particular individual is (or was) unable to control his or her behaviour at a particular time.”*“The American Psychiatric Association: Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition, Text Revision. Washington, DC, American Psychiatric Association, 2022.Page 29.Meanwhile:“In 2010, the APA lauched a website devoted to the DSM-5 revision to facilitate public and professional input into DSM-5. All draft diagnosic criteriaand proposed changes in orgnisational were posted on www.dsm5.org for a 2 month comment period. Feedback totaled more than 8,000 submissions, which were systemically reviewed by each of the 13 work groups…”.*“The American Psychiatric Association: Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition, Text Revision. Washington, DC, American Psychiatric Association, 2022.Page 8.Small Business Restriction here in Germany.I do discuss the issue of my Business and the no-help concept here in Germany.I know for certain that:1 - If you don’t have a ND diagnosis you get 100% of business assistance2 - If you have ONE official ND diagnosis you get 50% of business assistance3 - If you have TWO official ND diagnosis you get 0% of business assitanceSo it was not surprising when I went to a start-up company here in the area to be in the environment of 11 different businesses and actually be refused to take part. The representative that I spoke to told me he had done “Extentive research” on my business and this was a red flag, because no-one would normally admit that in conversation. The represetative also pushed me to get a “normal job” all the while I get calls from Neurodivergent individuals who phoned me when the 988 suidice hotlines were down in the USA and they had no-where to turn. I received three calls within the period of one week. I am an essential part of the ND community and working a “nornal job” means that people suffer unnecessarily. I also pointed out that I have been in burnout for the last 5 of my “normal jobs”. I concluded to this representative that I am not going into Burnout for the 6th time.I hope you enjoy the episode.

  18. #248 - DSM-5-TR Introduction Made Simple (00:24:08)

Hello and Welcome to the AUDHD Me & Mo The PodcastDSM-5-TR Introduction Made SimpleIn the second episode covering the DSM, this DSM5 edition has been 12 years in the making. This book comprised of thousands of people for  12 years people have had jobs, in an area which is so clinically focused that I believe no other ways of looking at this issue is possible from the governing body.Meanwhile us with Neurodiversity have lost most of our jobs we have had over this time! They use “Clinical Training and Experience” to use DSM to determine a clinical diagnosis. That’s ALL this book is. No other insights!!*“The American Psychiatric Association: Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition, Text Revision. 19. #247 - Simply Explained - Preface to the DSM-5-TR (00:29:46)

Welcome to the AUDHD Me & MO The Podcast series where I look  into the DSM-5-TR and later on the ICD-11.This episode describes the “Preface to DSM-5”I believe it is important to have a clinical and life experience mixture when books like these are written.I discuss the :DSM 5-TR Chair & Review GroupDSM 5 - Task Force & Work GroupI haven’t recognised not ONE of these doctors that have contributed to the 12 year project of the writing of this edition and I have over 2000 Neurodivergent contacts in every level of the field within my network except, obviously, the DSM team…..which concerns me.The DSM “current diagnostic criteria are the best available description of how mental disorders are expressed and can be recognised by trained clinicians”. (XXii)*I understand it is relevant to have a body of evidence to be able to work in this field. However, “The criteria are concise and explicit and intended to facilitate an objective assessment and symptom presentations in clinical private and primary care as well in general community epidemiological studies of mental disorders” (Xxiii)*I find the word “OBJECTIVE” an issue. When I worked in Physiotherapy we used a Assessment process called S.O.A.P when seeing patients:S - SubjectiveO- ObjectiveA- AnalysisP - PlanWhich I find much more harmonising than just an objective point of view because so much is missed!I hope you enjoy this episode.*“The American Psychiatric Association: Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition, Text Revision. 21. #245 - 💬 How is Simon doing? (01:17:55)

💬 How is Simon doing?Honestly…Absolutely fantastic on the inside. That’s not denial — it’s grit + perspective.Over the past five years, I’ve faced it all:💔 Loneliness (while feeling full inside)🧍 Being mistreated just for being myself💸 Financial struggle — lack of food, touch, and support⚖️ Discrimination, bureaucratic games, and shifting rules🏚️ Infrastructure that doesn’t hold up for people like meBut here’s the truth: I’ve developed a skill I’m proud of —✨ The ability to take negative situations and reshape them into fuel.I don’t avoid the pain. I restructure my life around it.It’s like emotional alchemy — turning setbacks into strategies, isolation into clarity, and injustice into insight.Forgiveness? Absolutely. Forgetting? No — because memory teaches growth.Pain doesn’t stop me — it shapes me.To anyone else navigating a rough patch:You’re not alone. Your strength might not be loud, but it’s real. And it’s building something powerful beneath the surface.#Grit #Resilience #Authenticity #GrowthMindset #ForgiveButDon’tForget #LeadershipFromWithin #Neurodiversity #Loneliness #LifeSkills #InnerStrength #MentalHealth #TruePositivity

🎙️ Hello and welcome to AuDHD Me & Mo: The Podcast🧠✨ In today’s episode, I explore a powerful idea:How the Autism & ADHD (AuDHD) community can change the world.🌍 With so many being diagnosed later in life, especially adults, I don’t believe it’s random. It feels like a quiet shift — a purposeful balancing of the norm.🤖 As AI continues to evolve — with people outsourcing their thinking, planning, and even their creativity — I believe neurodivergent minds are more essential than ever.💥 We naturally live by principles that have guided great leadership for years — like:📚 John Maxwell’s 13 Ways of Thinking, including:🔁 Reflective thinking🎯 Strategic thinking💡 Creative thinking🤝 Shared thinking🚀 Possibility thinkingAnd also 📖 Stephen Covey’s 8 Habits, such as:✅ Be proactive🧭 Begin with the end in mind🤝 Seek first to understand, then to be understood🌱 Sharpen the sawThese aren’t just personal development tools — they’re often how we survive, create, and connect.🧩 Neurodivergence isn’t a flaw — it’s a framework for innovation.🎧 Tune in as I explore how the AuDHD community brings new energy to leadership, collaboration, and human potential.Let’s stop trying to fit in — and start leading from who we really are.#AuDHD #Neurodiversity #Autism #ADHD #Podcast #GrowthMindset #Leadership #StephenCovey #JohnMaxwell #FutureOfWork #AI #Innovation #EmbraceDifferent

  24. #242 - Kira C. Staggs -Author of the Publication: "Chewing as a Brainstem Mediated Stress Modulator: An Evolutionary Hypothesis Linking Orofacial Neural Activation to Emotional Eating and Obesity”. (01:16:17)

Hello and Welcome to the AUDHD ME & MO The Podcast. Today I speak with Kira Staggs, from Utah, USA who runs her own company called ‘KaeCeeEss’ Integrative Health and Wellness. In this 1 hour 15 minute episode, recorded simply on my mobile phone, and hers too via the app Messenger, in which I put my phone on my Rode Microphones pop filter to get the best sound…btw the quality of this call is actually better than a Zoom call…it’s so realistic it’s like we are sitting next to each other. As a board-certified health and professional coach and holistic health practitioner, we really delved into the area of the following theme based on her published article called “Chewing as a Brainstem Mediated Stress Modulator: An Evolutionary Hypothesis Linking Orofacial Neural Activation to Emotional Eating and Obesity”. I wanted to give Kira the stage today, for two reasons. I read through her paper and think it is sound plus she was getting rejection and push back from qualified professionals which I didn’t think was in order. Kira’s son is on the spectrum, who I said hello to just before the episode and a quick wave to her mother which makes podcasting so rich, when using a phone app compared to a Zoom program (which also has it’s benefits), but the expression is life is there instead of just looking at calendly and just going through a normal chat for an hour. This brings out more substance in every interaction. So we spoke about chewing, and  this paper proposes a novel hypothesis that chewing functions as a mechanism to initiate parasympathetic modulation. This is essential listening for people like myself with Autism, who use Oral Stimming as a healthy part of our lives, and instead of being slandered for doing it, there are biological reasons that have been overlooked. Kira expresses the three cranial nerves in detail 1) Triennial (V), Glossopharyngeal (IX) and the Hypoglossal (XII),  in a very down to earth fashion ….. (editors note: Simon’s podcast is always down to earth :). We discuss Autonomic tone, Delayed gratification from Stanford from the 1970’s, HRV ((Heart-Rate Viability)which I have discussed before on this podcast), and lots on the ANS and PNS, especially Vagal activity. We then speak about the work of Mark Filipii regarding “Phases of Moon affecting Brain Chemistry”, delving into dominant Neurotransmitters such as Melatonin, Dopamine and Serontonin, while opening up Acetylcholine (ACh)m  and GABA. This episode is amazing any you will learn so much. We both hope you enjoy listening. Here is the publication:📖 Read the preprint on Zenodo:👉 https://lnkd.in/ghipDvMNJoin my,1000X More Organised Course 🧍Stan Store 🏬 : https://stan.store/AuDHDMeandMo
