- Gratitude and Abundance - Meditation (00:20:41)
When we lose sight of what to be thankful for, we start to lose our ability to enjoy our life. When gratitude evades us, joy escapes us and we can slip into cynicism and scarcity. There is no happiness found in scarcity. This meditation hopes to help the listener return to the present moment to find themselves grateful for this breath, this time, this moment, this life.
- Pushing Past Resistance - Meditation (00:17:23)
Any time we decide to do something that will make us healthier, happier, more authentic, so often, we are met with resistance. That resistance manifests in many different ways. Fear, anxiety, insecurity but no matter how that resistance shows up in our lives, it is blocking us from becoming our true self. This meditation, inspired by a quote by Steven Pressfield, the author of The War of Art, aims to help us be more mindful of the resistance that is getting in our way so we can push past it and transcend our former selves.
- I Am - Meditation (00:19:42)
The way the world is going these days, it is very easy to forget where we are and that we are right here and right now. This meditation uses the mantra So Hum (I AM) to remind us that we are real, we are here, and we are now.
- Breath and Body Scan - Meditation (00:23:33)
In this relaxing meditation, we slow things way down with a full body scan. We will use our breath to focus our energy and attention on specific areas of the body, tuning in to them one by one, relaxing each area as we move our way through the body. As we follow our breath in and out, we find a way in to the only true moment, the present. This meditation is intended to help you unwind at the end of a busy day or even just to take a few moments to invite some peace and stillness into your day.
- Avoidance - Meditation (00:19:53)
In this meditation we discuss the importance of dealing with your problems and not letting them pile up on you because the more you do, the harder and harder it becomes to live your life freely. Quote from Eckhart Tolle.
- Acceptance - Meditation (00:15:36)
In this episode, we have a brand new meditation on acceptance and accepting the present moment as it is. One of the most powerful lessons we can learn is that accepting the moment and our life as it is right now, is the quickest way to finding gratitude.
- Self Control - Meditation (00:14:13)
In this episode, we have a brand new meditation for self control. Biting our tongue, losing our temper, controlling our unproductive outbursts. Those are all very real obstacles we have in today's world. We hope this episode helps provide some perspective when you are struggling.
- Self Doubt - Meditation (00:16:04)
In this episode we talk a little about self doubt and imposter syndrome and have a quote from Don Miguel Ruiz to help get our meditation started.
- Facing Fear - Meditation (00:20:42)
Many times we decide to do something new only to be met with an infinite amount of excuses and hesitation that only convinces us to procrastinate that thing, whatever it may be. This is called resistance and that kind of internal resistance is sent to us by our ego, which is trying to preserve and protect. How many times have we all not done something we wanted to do because we were afraid or failure, embarrassment, rejection, etc.? This meditation .hopes to remind the meditator that our fear is merely a compass pointing us in the direction we need to go to transcend ourselves. The answer is not to go around but to go through. One breath at a time.
- Riding The Wave - Meditation (00:20:42)
When we are overcome with emotion it is very easy to lose sight of the fact that the pain is temporary but if we can learn that our pain and emotions come and go in waves, perhaps we can gain some mindfulness and perspective as we experience those things in the moment. This meditation aims to help the meditator remember to ride the wave of the present moment. One breath at a time.
- Believing Good Things Will Happen - Meditation (00:20:42)
Negativity can pile up on us through out our life. So much so that it is very easy to start to believe that nothing good will ever happen. People will suggest affirmations and law of attraction and many are skeptical that those things will ever work for them. The trust is that they will work only if we believe they will. They won't work, if we believe they won't. We have to retain ourselves to not feel silly thinking positively. That silly feeling is resistance and cynicism creeping back in. This meditation aims to help the meditator regain some peace and balance while reminding them that good things can happen, if only you just believe they can. One breath at a time.
- Moving Forward - Meditation (00:20:42)
Sometimes when we get overwhelmed by the things happening in our life, we can very easily get sucked into freezing up, not knowing what to do or where to go next and we begin to stagnate in that feeling of insecurity and if we are not careful, that feeling can become our new normal and the next thing we know, that's just how we feel all the time. This meditation hopes to remind the meditator that the easiest way to snap yourself out of that feeling is to keep moving forward, one breath at a time. One breath at a time.
- Letting Go - Meditation (00:20:42)
Holding on to expectations is one of the fastest way to ensure our suffering and one of the fastest ways to ensure our peace of mind is to let go of those expectations. It is easier said than done but it is possible through practice of meditation. This meditation hopes to help with the letting go by following our breath. One breath at a time.
- Entering The Present Moment - Meditation (00:20:39)
Our life can carry us away when we aren't looking. The mindfulness we get from practicing meditation can very easily point us back in the direction of the present moment that we can loose sight of so easily. The breath is our compass. In and out. In and out. One breath at a time.
- Abundance of Gratitude - Meditation (00:20:33)
In the day to day grind of our life, it is very easy to loose sight of things we are grateful for. The truth is that no matter how bad things are, no matter the struggle, there is still room for gratitude. Through gratitude comes joy and joy is the path to being in love with our life. One breath at a time.
- Sitting in Silence - Meditation (00:14:34)
When we sit down to meditate, we are trying to get to a place of stillness, calm, and silence to easier place ourselves in the present moment. In the present moment, we gain clarity and balance and one way into that place of calm is silence. This meditation hopes to assist the meditator to get to that place. Listen to the silence. One breath at a time.
- Believing in Possibility - Meditation (00:20:42)
So often, in our lives, we get bogged down in the negative thinking so much that we can convince ourselves that nothing good will ever happen, the the only thing possible is disappointment. This is because over time we have convinced ourselves to only believe in the negative. But there is another side of possibility and in there lies all the hope and good we can see in our live. The only thing that changes is what we choose to believe in. This meditation hopes to help the meditator shift their focus into the possibility of good.
- The Gap - Meditation (00:16:28)
In between stimulus and response, there is a space. There is a space to be found in between our thoughts. There is a space between inhale and exhale. We call this place The Gap. The gap is where we feel present and aware. Not thinking, not worrying, just absorbing and observing, just living in that space of pure conscious awareness. This meditation aims to help the meditator find their way into that space through practice of breath.
- Creating A Better Future - Meditation (00:16:27)
So many times we find ourselves getting stuck in negative and unproductive thought patterns. If we aren't careful or mindful of this, we could easily sink further and further into despair. Meditation can help us reset our minds and recalibrate our day just by taking a few moments to ourselves to watch our breath. One breath at a time.
- Regaining Balance - Meditation (00:17:09)
As we go through our daily life we have things happen to us and it can be hard to remember that the things that happen to us do not have to define us. What matters most is not what happens to us but how we respond to what happens to us. This meditation aims to help the meditator return to balance. One breath at a time.
- Observing Thought - Meditation (00:19:35)
When we meditate, over time, we learn to observe our thoughts and not to get swept away by them. This meditation hopes to help the meditator re-center, re-balance into the present moment through breath.
- Awareness - Meditation (00:19:53)
When we talk about meditation, very often we say things like "awareness" or "consciousness" and we can very easily brush past what any of those things mean or feel like. This meditation hopes to help the meditator become more familiar with our true self, the part of us deep down inside that is just witnessing and observing our thoughts and feelings through out our day through active listening.
- Moving Past Disappointment - Meditation (00:19:54)
The saying goes "Expectation leads to disappointment, which leads to suffering". Yes but how do we deal with those feelings? How do we push past those complicated emotions because it is hard to go through life without becoming attached to the things we care about most? Breath, my friend. It is through the breath. One breath at a time.
- Relax - Meditation (00:15:54)
When we find time to relax, we also find a deeper way into the present moment. This meditation hopes to help you get to a relaxed state where there is not time, place, or thing, just pure consciousness and pure awareness observing through breath. One breath at a time.
- Higher Vibration - Meditation (00:22:48)
Stress, anxiety, worry, frustration, rage are all lower energy vibrations bringing us down all the time. If we are not careful, we can easily get swept away by those things, all while struggling to rise above them. Through meditation and mindfulness, we can remind ourselves not to dwell on those unproductive thoughts, feelings, and emotions to raise our vibrations with things like gratitude, joy, abundance. One breath at a time.
