    From 1968 to 1985, a series of lovers' lane attacks happened in Italy, leaving several dead young couples. The killer in this case has commonly been referred to as Italy's Zodiac killer, but frighteningly, this killer had far more confirmed victims than Zodiac.   3. Morgan Metzer (00:51:59)

    On New Year's Eve, 2020, Morgan Metzer was at her best friend's house, where she had been planning to celebrate the new year. She was feeling tired and decided to call it an early night. She drove home in Cherokee County, Georgia, got into bed, and quickly fell asleep. In the middle of the night, when she opened her eyes, she saw the shadow of a man standing in her bedroom doorway. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss Morgan Metzer. Morgan was attacked in her home by a masked man dressed all in black. The man spoke to her, but in a disguised voice. All Morgan could think about was her children and living to see them again.   4. The Candy Man (00:48:00)

    On October 31st, 1974, the O'Bryan family set out for Halloween in Deer Park, just outside of Houston, Texas. Despite the rain, Ronald Clark O'Bryan and neighbor Jim Bates took their kids, four in total, out to trick or treating. But this Halloween turned out to be fatal for one of the O'Bryan children. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss The Candy Man. Timothy O'Bryan ate a Pixy Stix that night, became extremely ill, and died. This caused a massive panic throughout the area. The police weren't sure who was giving out laced candy and how much was out there. People were shocked when the police figured out who perpetrated this heinous act.   5. Diana Robertson and Mike Riemer (00:42:29)

    On December 12th, 1985, 21-year-old Diana Robertson and her boyfriend 36-year-old Mike Riemer of Puyallup, WA took their two-year-old daughter, Crystal, up to a forested area in the mountains near Tacoma. Crystal was found at a Kmart 30 miles away, and the mystery of what happened to Diana and Mike began. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss Diana Robertson and Mike Riemer. Diana's body was found months later but that only intensified the mystery. A tube sock was found wrapped around her neck. Mike's remains were found 25 years later, but the discovery answered few questions.

  6. The Hunt for Travis Decker (00:48:33)

    On May 30th, 2025, thirty-two-year-old Travis Decker went to his ex-wife Whitney Decker's home to pick up his 3 daughters, all under the age of ten, for a visit. A few days later all three girls were found murdered and Travis was nowhere to be found. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss Travis Decker. After the murders were discovered, the authorities didn't know for sure whether Travis was the perpetrator or a victim himself. But that picture soon became clear after DNA results came back.   7. Beverly Jarosz (01:02:52)

    In 1964, the murder of 16-year-old Beverly Jarosz, who was savagely attacked and killed in her own bedroom, shocked the community of Garfield Heights, Ohio. There were a number of people looked at closely in connection to Beverly's murder, but no one has yet been held responsible. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss the murder of Beverly Jarosz. The authorities who worked the case all said it was the most gruesome murder they had ever seen.   8. Nikki VanderHeyden (00:51:25)

    In May 2016, thirty-one-year-old mother of three, Nicole VanderHeyden, was found dead. It was apparent she had been murdered due to the state of her injuries. Nicole, who went by Nikki, disappeared after a night out with her boyfriend and other friends. The authorities immediately began looking at Nikki's boyfriend. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss the murder of Nikki VanderHeyden. Nikki's boyfriend, Douglass Detrie, could have very well ended up spending the rest of his life in prison. The Fitbit he was wearing told the story of his whereabouts the night Nikki was murdered.   9. Breaking News: Robert Eugene Brashers identified as killer in Austin Yogurt Shop Murders (00:02:24)

    Major breaking news here as serial killer Robert Eugene Brashers has been identified as being responsible for the infamous quadruple Yogurt Shop murder in December, 1991 in Austin, TX.  Killed were Jennifer Harbison, and Eliza Thomas who were employees of the 'I Can't Believe it's Yogurt' shop in Austin, along with Jennifer's sister Sarah Harbison, and her friend Amy Ayers who were in the shop in order to get a ride home with Jennifer after closing. All four girls were shot in the head execution style and at least one of them was raped. After they were killed, the shop was set on fire to cover up the crime and destroy evidence.  Robert Eugene Brashers was a known rapist and serial killer who roamed from state to state. Among many twisted crimes, We know Brashers was responsible for the murders of Genevieve "Jenny" Zitricki in Greenville, SC in 1990, as well as that  of mother and daughter  Sherri and Megan Scherer in Portageville, Missouri in 1998.   11. Matthew Restelli (00:57:14)

    In 2024, Matthew and Kathryn Restelli were living together on a seven-acre property in Aguanga, about eighteen miles east of Temecula, California. The couple had been married for about seven and a half years, but the marriage had started to fall apart around 2020. Kathryn decided to take the kids to her mom Tracey Grist's home in American Fork, Utah. She took the kids there without asking her husband, and that caused further friction. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss Matthew Restelli. Matthew was found shot to death in his mother-in-law's home; it appeared as though he had broken into the house to get his kids back. However, authorities noticed some signs that led them to believe that everything was not as it seemed.   12. Christine Holloway & Vanessa Morales (00:52:09)

    In 2019, forty-three-year-old Christine Holloway was living in an apartment in Ansonia, about ten miles west of New Haven, Connecticut. She was dating a man named Jose Morales. The couple had one child together, a fourteen-month-old daughter named Vanessa, who lived with Christine. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss Christine Holloway and Vanessa Morales. On December 2nd, 2019, Christine didn't show up to her job and co-workers and her family asked for a welfare check. The police found a gruesome scene inside her apartment, and Christine was found dead in her bathtub. But there was no sign of Vanessa, and Jose Morales became the prime suspect in Christine's death.   13. The Littleton Colorado Mysteries (00:55:58)

    As this episode drops, CrimeCon is taking place in Denver, Colorado. We're diving into a couple mysteries that occurred in Littleton, about 10 miles away from Denver. These are cases that garnered much less attention than other crimes, such as the Columbine shootings. But the circumstances of each make them very perplexing.   14. Martha Leanne Green (00:48:11)

    On April 15th, 1987, seventeen-year-old Martha Leanne Green, who usually went by Leanne, vanished from White Bluff, TN.  At the time, she and her twin brother, Lawson, were on their way home when they ran out of gas. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss the disappearance of Leanne Green. A family stopped by and took Lawson to get some gas, but, for some reason, Leanne wanted to stay in the car. When Lawson got back to the car with the gas, Leanne was gone.

  15. Amy Bradley Part 2 (00:55:22)

    In the spring of 1998, 23-year-old Amy Bradley boarded a Royal Caribbean cruise with her parents and brother. Just a few days into the cruise, Amy vanished. Her father, Ron, said he last saw her on the balcony early in the morning after a night of partying. But when the family woke up, Amy was nowhere to be found. Join Mike and Morf for part 2 of 2 on the disappearance of Amy Bradley. This case has been followed closely for years by amateur sleuths on sites like Reddit and Websleuths.   17. The Devil's Den Murders (00:55:58)

    On Saturday July 26th, 2025, officers from the Arkansas State Police were notified that there had been a double homicide in the park. The bodies were identified as forty-three-year-old Clinton Brink and forty-one-year-old Cristen Brink. The two had been hiking with two of their daughters, who are seven and nine years old, at Devil's Den State Park. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss these horrific murders. The police had a description of the attacker as well as his vehicle and looked at all the video and photos they could find from that day. They arrested twenty-eight-year-old Andrew McGann on July 31st in Springdale, Arkansas.   18. Sam Haskell (00:49:49)

    In 2023, authorities received a call about possible human body parts in plastic bags outside of a home in Tarzana, California. When officers arrived at the scene, there were no bags in front of the house and no body parts to be found. The next morning, a man found a torso in the dumpster, which ignited an exhaustive investigation. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss Sam Haskell. The son of a Hollywood mogul, Sam was 35 years old and married with children in 2023. As the investigation unfolded, the authorities released that Sam's wife, Mei Li, and his in-laws, Yanxiang Wang and Gaoshen Li, were missing.   19. The Terwilliger Family Murders (00:53:03)

    In 2023, five people were brutally murdered in a home in Florida, and it turned out, as it does in many cases like this, that the killer was someone close to home. Two young boys were also at the house but were unharmed and able to call for help. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss the Terwilliger family murders. As police were investigating the grisly murders, one named surfaced quickly; Domenico Gigante.     In 2017, 33-year-old private investigator and former police officer Taylor Wright vanished in after heading out to meet a friend. Eventually, the truth about what happened to Taylor would come out, and this would evolve into a homicide investigation; one that would lead directly to someone very close to Taylor. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss the disappearance of Taylor Wright. Taylor was in the middle of a contentious custody battle with her ex-husband. She had taken a large sum of money out of their bank account that the court deemed was not hers to take.   21. Lauren Giddings (01:01:19)

    In 2011, 27-year-old Lauren Giddings was studying for the bar exam. She had told friends and family that she would be out of contact during this time so she could give her full attention. For this reason, it took everyone in her life longer than it normally would have to realize she was missing. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss the murder of Lauren Giddings. Police eventually began to zero in on one of Lauren's neighbors, Stephen McDaniel. Stephen was a 25-year-old law student who was described as odd and a loner.   22. Ilene Misheloff (01:03:09)

    On January 30th, 1989, the soon to be fourteen-year-old Ilene Misheloff vanished from Dublin, California. She left school early to head home and then attend ice skating lessons, but she never made it. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss the disappearance of Ilene Misheloff. Ilene's case has been linked through the years with other girls who have disappeared. Some of those were later solved and proved to not be linked.   23. The Citronelle Murders (00:50:50)

    In the early morning hours of Sat August 20th, 2016, Twenty-seven-year-old Derrick Dearman, entered the home where his twenty-four-year-old estranged girlfriend, Laneta Lester, was staying. It was Laneta's brother's home, situated approximately 30 miles outside Mobile, Alabama. Join Mike and Morf as they discuss the Citronelle murders. Laneta had fled from Derrick because he was abusive. Her family turned Derrick away from the home when he showed up earlier.     In Part 1, we outlined the bulk of the cases connected to this series and discussed how many of the instances were remarkably similar in some ways, and how the areas where the crimes occurred often overlapped with each other.     From 1968 to 1989 there were a large number of murders in what is known as the Connecticut River Valley. But with the long period of time and bodies found in multiple states, it's hard to know how many of these murders are connected.
