On this episode Gary and I discuss why the assassination of Charlie Kirk is having such a large impact on us and our world. It is exposing both good and evil, a culture that loves death, and most importantly it is bringing forth a boldness for the truth of the Gospel. - The Battle Against Evil Is Real (01:19:26)
We are in a battle. But do we know what we are waging war against? On this episode we look at all the evil surrounding us and how we do battle against it with truth, clarity, discernment, and wisdom only found in God. On this episode we strive to provide a clearer idea of what's going on in DC and how the federal surge by Trump has helped lower crime there, albeit, not without some concerns. We also discuss the recent school shooting in Minneapolis and the evil lies behind the trans movement. Finally we give our fans a look at the trailer for a new film called Trial By Ideology which, among other things, highlights the ongoing legal battle of Ofc. Brad Lunsford. **The beliefs, views, and opinions on this podcast belong to the hosts only and do not represent or reflect the beliefs, views, or opinions of their respective agencies.** Get Exclusive Content and Support the Podcast: https://patron.podbean.com/twocops1call Website: https://www.2cops1call.com/ Link to Gary Lowe/Lancaster Leather: https://www.instagram.com/lancasterleather/?ig FOLLOW US ON SOCIALS: YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@2cops1call X: https://x.com/OfficerAWeaver Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/DiakonosACopsCalling Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/2cops1call/ #police #backtheblue #christian Music on podcast by LiteSaturation from Pixabay

- Viral Punches Thrown, William McNeil Arrested, and Money (01:12:54)
Gary and Anthony give an update on the case against Ofc. Brad Lunsford and discuss a case out of Colorado that has landed a deputy in hot water after he shared information with ICE. But the majority of the episode is spent breaking down the viral video of the arrest of William McNeil in Jacksonville, Florida. Context is king in these moments and there's a lot of context that the press did not share. We take a look at the viral video, the body cam video and the comments made by Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters. **The beliefs, views, and opinions on this podcast belong to the hosts only and do not represent or reflect the beliefs, views, or opinions of their respective agencies.** Get Exclusive Content and Support the Podcast: https://patron.podbean.com/twocops1call Website: https://www.2cops1call.com/ Link to Gary Lowe/Lancaster Leather: https://www.instagram.com/lancasterleather/?ig Link to Lacy Lunsford's Statement on Ofc. - Breonna Taylor and the Sentencing of Ofc. Brett Hankison (01:08:27)
On this episode Gary and Anthony revisit the death of Breonna Taylor in light of the recent sentencing of Ofc. Brett Hankison. This case, like many others, was promoted with lies and misinformation by the press. Most people have moved on from the case, but Ofc. Brett Hankison, has been living in a nightmare ever since, as the feds have been working to get him convicted of civil rights violations. Ofc. Hankison was just sentenced in this case and Gary and I shed light back on the case and discuss why his guilty verdict and his sentence are such a travesty. We also try and figure out why firemen can do no wrong and discuss an alpha male going toe to toe with a bobcat. Last but not least a meth smoking raccoon closes out the episode. **The beliefs, views, and opinions on this podcast belong to the hosts only and do not represent or reflect the beliefs, views, or opinions of their respective agencies.** Get Exclusive Content and Support the Podcast: https://patron.podbean.com/twocops1call Website: https://www.2cops1call.com/ Link to Gary Lowe/Lancaster Leather: https://www.instagram.com/lancasterleather/?ig Link to Anthony's Appearance on Guys on the Ground Podcast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvXhq1XY7wY&t=3620s FOLLOW US ON SOCIALS: X: https://x.com/OfficerAWeaver Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/DiakonosACopsCalling Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/2cops1call/ #police #backtheblue #christian Music on podcast by LiteSaturation from Pixabay

Anthony and Gary spend the bulk of the episode debating a local case where a Reading, PA police officer is under fire for punching a man during a noise disturbance call. They also shed some light on a New Mexico case that had law enforcement officers in a standoff with an armed 7 and 9 year old. Plus they give an update on the declared mistrial in Ofc. C. - Severed Fingers, Mushrooms, and Officer Created Jeopardy (01:09:38)
What do severed fingers, mushrooms, and officer created jeopardy have in common...well a lot actually. On this episode Anthony and Gary open up the comments section to their content and share some laughs about some of the interesting feedback they've received. Plus they check in on the so called "experts" who have recently testified during the trial of Officer Schurr. One of them coined a term "officer created jeopardy" and they discuss why it should have nothing to do with the reasonableness standard the police are held to. Then they tie that into a police call for service in Oregon where a man decided to get high on mushrooms, burn himself, and cut off his fingers. This man is now suing the police as he claims they didn't do their job. Plus a woman in Kansas City stabbed fire fighter, Graham Hoffman, to death and the actions of the police are again under fire instead of the actions of the criminal. - Portland PD Leader Shows Hatred For The Public (01:13:01)
Gary and Anthony start the episode chatting about what Easter means to them and the Hope it gives to them even in the midst of all the madness in the world. That madness includes a Portland PD incident where a police leader has officers abandon their duty to protect the public, allowing a criminal to do as he pleased and literally deciding to do nothing to stop him. They also discuss the tragic case involving the murder of Austin Metcalf and how identity politics focuses on outward appearances and not on content of character. They provide an update on Ofc. Christopher Schurr's upcoming trial and also briefly discuss the arson incident at the PA Governor mansion. **Video from KATU ABC2 Portland** Podcast Website: https://www.diakonosacc.com/ Link to Gary Lowe/Lancaster Leather: https://www.instagram.com/lancasterleather/?ig FOLLOW US ON SOCIALS: X: https://x.com/OfficerAWeaver Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/DiakonosACopsCalling Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/lowe.expectations.official/?igsh=eTVzODVkb2JtMDZp&utm_source=qr #police #backtheblue #christian Music on podcast by b-minor-95-bpm-bb-king-style-145882 from Pixabay.
- It's Time To Rethink De-Escalation (01:09:55)
On this episode Gary and Anthony take a look at a recent incident involving a suspect brandishing a chainsaw in a retirement home. The video demands a discussion on hesitation by officers that seems to be driven, in part, by a focus on de-escalation. Are trainers doing a disservice to officers in training when they don't better define de-escalation and when and how it should be used? They also take a look at a recent incident in Rochester, NY (a sanctuary city) where officers were thrown under the bus by city leadership after assisting federal officers on a tense traffic stop. Additionally they take a look at a female Miami PD officer who failed to intervene in a beating taking place right in front of her which reopens a discussion on the 30x30 initiative. An update on the cases against Ofc. Mac Marquette and Ofc. Brad Lunsford are also provided and discussed. Additionally, they explore the swift justice system in El Salvador, contrasting it with the U.S. approach, and share some unbelievable reports about jurors that are driving motions by the defense team for Ofc. Brad Lunsford. Gary and Anthony also discuss a trans/lgbtq+ police car and why it erodes the public trust in law enforcement. - The Downfall of Tasers and Officer Trial Updates (01:14:14)
On this episode Gary and Anthony compile an update on the cases and trials against Ofc. Brad Lunsford, Ofc. Christopher Schurr, Ofc. Terence Sutton, and Ofc. Mac Marquette. These cases represent a sobering reminder that officers are being unjustly charged for crimes while doing a job the public has asked them to do. Reviewing these cases brings about a discussion about the use of the taser in law enforcement. Over the years the taser has been pushed up to a higher level of force for officers, causing it to become a tool that is less useful and more of a liability for officers. Gary and Anthony also discuss President Biden's pardon of a cold-blooded cop killer who executed two FBI agents in 1975. They close the episode having a good time with recent comments to the podcast about how we are "copsplaining" and lack skill in creating content. - Officer Brad Lunsford Case (01:17:26)
On this episode Gary and Anthony look at the case against Ofc. Brad Lunsford. The Soro's funded Attorney General of New Mexico ignored the reasonable officer standard for use of force incidents and charged Ofc. Lunsford with voluntary manslaughter in a complete miscarriage of justice. His trial is happening right now and we break down the incident and why Ofc. Lunsford operated as any reasonable officer would have. - Dangerous Hesitation: Did It Play A Role In An Officer's Murder (01:14:50)
It's the season one finale of Lowe Expectations! Gary and Anthony tease season two coming in 2025 and banter about the election outcome. In addition they provide an update on the Daniel Penny manslaughter trial. Much of the episode is focused on the dumpster fire that is Chicago and how it's affecting the police officers who work there. They highlight a public safety advisor in Chicago who makes over 100k per year but fails to keep her vehicle legal and has outstanding warrants. They turn their main focus on the murder of Ofc. Enrique Martinez in Chicago and why the political landscape of this city caused him and other officers to hesitate on the traffic stop that cost him his life. Officers used to say they'd rather be judged by 12 then carried by 6 but that sentiment is changing. Many officers are finding themselves engaged in dangerous hesitation. Anthony highlights his own examples of hesitation and he and Gary discuss why it's so dangerous for officers. Mattingly shares his first-hand account of the tragic Breonna Taylor incident that occurred in Louisville, Kentucky, in 2020. Throughout the episode, Anthony and John discuss the mainstream media's portrayal of the case and explore the truths that were overlooked. John Mattingly also opens up about his faith and how it has helped him navigate the aftermath of the incident. - A Justice System Adrift (01:40:16)
**This episode contains mature subject matter** Gary and Anthony are back behind the mics for episode 20! Gary starts the episode doing his best to offend drone pilots and questioning the "pilot" title they give themselves. They again talk about the border mess as the presidential election looms. But the main part of the episode is spent discussing two disturbing cases that show our justice system is adrift. The first is a case involving the alleged murder of a baby in South Carolina. The second is about a judge making a ruling which forces tax payers in Indiana to pay for sex change surgery of a violent murderer. This drives a conversation about the state of our justice system and at times it's promotion of evil. They question how we've drifted so far away from standards, where those standards come from, and why we can still have hope. - Ofc. Terrence Sutton Is Sentenced and Justice vs. Mercy (01:29:51)
In this thought-provoking episode, Gary and Anthony tackle the pressing issue of juvenile crime in America. They explore the alarming cases of young offenders, including a 12-year-old car thief in Maryland and a tragic incident in Denver involving a juvenile shot during a car theft. The hosts delve into the root causes of juvenile delinquency, highlighting the impact of fatherless homes and societal failure to instill consequences. The discussion also revisits the controversial case of Officer Terrence Sutton, who was charged with second-degree murder following a pursuit of a gang member in Washington, D.C. Despite his commendable service record, Sutton's conviction raises questions about the judicial system's treatment of law enforcement officers. Throughout the episode, Gary and Anthony emphasize the importance of justice and consequences, drawing parallels to biblical truths. They argue that a shift in societal values, where justice is owed and mercy is given, is crucial for addressing both juvenile crime and broader criminal justice issues. Tune in for an engaging and insightful conversation that challenges conventional views on crime, punishment, and the role of law enforcement in today's society. - A Follow-Up On Ofc. Marquette's Case And Murder Charges Against Ofc. Christopher Schurr (01:26:23)
Anthony and Gary got some recent pushback about their breakdown of the charges against Decatur PD Officer Marquette. Did they get it wrong? They discuss the rumors and peripheral issues surrounding this case. Plus they dissect murder charges against Grand Rapids PD Officer Christopher Schurr. Ofc. Schurr was faced with an assaultive suspect who took his taser and was forced to make the decision to use deadly force to protect himself from serious bodily injury or death. That decision led to him being charged with murder. It also caused him and his department to be lambasted by a group of pastors. - Butter Knife Protection, Abandoned Post, 30x30, and a Violent Foot Pursuit (01:24:00)
In normal fashion this episode hits on several topics. -Gary tells a story about using a butter knife as protection just in case a sociopath decided to try and kill him. -A Secret Service agent allegedly left her post to nurse her baby which leads to discussion about concerning aspects about the 30x30 initiative. It sounds nice but is it really a good initiative for law enforcement? -Anthony and Gary provide some context and expertise to a Chicago PD foot pursuit that ended violently.
