This week we are talking about one of our favorite genre’s True Crime! Everywhere you turn these days, it seems like there’s a new trending book, podcast, or show devoted to a crime. The genre is so huge that Netflix whose offerings in this arena include The Keepers, Evil Genius, Wild Wild Country, Making a Murderer, The Staircase, and many more—even created a parody true crime series (American Vandal). Which raises the question: Why are we so obsessed with true crime?
Secure or Unsecure, That is the Question: Attachment Theory (00:40:35)
This we are talking about the attachment theory. Why are some people very aloof and unattached in their relationships, while others are clingy and need constant validation? According to attachment theory, it's because different people have different attachment styles. We wanted to spend this week chatting about the four attachment styles, how they're formed in childhood, and how the goal is to develop a secure attachment style in all your 35ish relationships

We want to go on record and say that we are ABSOLUTELY not experts on this topic, but we thought we would try our best to discuss such a difficult emotion, our personal experiences with grief, as we hope we can glean at least a little comfort or thought for anyone who has gone through a difficult personal loss.

Reality television emerged as a distinct genre in the early 1990s with shows such as The Real World, then achieved prominence in the early 2000s with the success of the series Survivor, American Idol, and Big Brother, all of which became global franchises. The Connections Between X, Y & Z (00:38:18)
