Jordan Perry writes music for other people for a living. The excitement of taking another artist’s ideas and turning them into fully realized recordings inspires and challenges him on a daily basis. But in fall 2019 he took on his biggest challenge yet; finding his own sound.When you spend your days creating for others it’s hard to find the time and energy for your own projects. Knowing the only way forward was by MAKING the time, Jordan, as the season’s first flakes of snow began to fall, locked himself in a cheap motel in Hawkesbury, Ontario with the sole purpose of writing as many songs for himself as possible. He emerged forty eight hours, two energy drinks and one bottle of whiskey later, with three songs that would become the first solo singles of his 20+ year career.Jordan, originally a Saskatchewan-born drummer, spent his early twenties traveling around Canada and exploring the unique musical avenues each region offered.
