Within the Light, she experienced a life review and a profound sense of home. When she saw her husband Pete, she understood her life with him was not finished. Though she did not want to return, she accepted that she was needed. She was then pulled back into her body, gasping in pain and confusion, surrounded by medical staff. The last thing she heard was someone saying she had almost died.
