Hello! I am Esther VanOverbeke and I proudly represent the Waverly FFA Chapter in Nebraska! Growing up surrounded by agriculture, my decision to join the FFA was a no-brainer. From the first time zipping up my blue corduroy jacket, I instantly fell in love with the FFA and everything it has to offer! From speech contests, and the Agriscience Fair, to meats evaluation and Opening and Closing Ceremonies, I love it all! Me and my guests will dive straight into sharing our agricultural and FFA journeys! Join us as we talk "All About Ag"!

  1. Episode 10 with Neilee Guinn (00:36:02)

    Neilee Guinn is a senior member of the Porter FFA Chapter in Oklahoma, and is currently the Vice President of her chapter. She has been on the officer team for 3 years now. In 2023, she was a part of the OKFFA State Convention Social Media team, and received a scholarship to attend the Washington Leadership Conference. She has been the Star Farmer and Star Greenhand recipient for her chapter over her years in the FFA. She has earned multiple awards with prepared public speaking and was the 4th place finisher in the Oklahoma Employment Skills contest. Outside of the FFA, she was an Oklahoma State House of Representatives and Oklahoma State Senate page. She has also been on Student Council, is the National Honor Society secretary and is a member of Varsity Cheer.   2. Episode 9 with Jake Simpson (00:53:53)

    Jake Simpson is a member of the Dewey FFA in the state of Oklahoma. He is the Dewey FFA President, Student Council secretary, and the National Honor Society secretary. He is the host of “I Believe TV”, which is known internationally. He has competed in vet science, prepared public speaking, skeet shooting and livestock judging.   3. Episode 8 with Courtney Blagg (00:41:38)

    Courtney Blagg is a senior from the Oologah FFA Chapter in Oklahoma. She is currently the secretary for her FFA Chapter. She has been very active within Oologah 4-H, holding many officer positions over the years. She is the owner of Courtney's Cakery and CBPhotography. She has participated in ag sales, freshman quizbowl, floriculture, prepared public speaking and livestock judging. She had the state winning and gold-finalist agriscience projects in 2020, 2021, and was 5th in state agriscience in 2022. She was a part of the 2023 State Winning Agricultural Issues Forum team in the state of Oklahoma. She has earned numerous awards with her show lamb and goat projects.   4. Episode 7 with Trey Voller (01:13:12)

    Trey Voller is a graduate from the Diamond Trail FFA Chapter in Iowa. At the 2023 National FFA Convention and Expo, he was a facilitator for workshops and was named 3rd place in the National Agriscience Fair in Food Products and Processing Division 5. He has received his State FFA Degree from the Iowa FFA Association, been awarded numerous scholarships, and finished 2nd place in the State Science and Engineering Fair for the State of Iowa in the microbiology category. He was an Iowa State Fair Usher Group Leader, and the South Central Iowa FFA District Sentinel. He was a part of a National Food Science and Technology CDE team, receiving an individual gold rating as the 26th overall individual. He was named 5th place in Iowa’s LDE contest in extemporaneous public speaking, and was a part of a bronze rated team for the National Forestry CDE. Over his entire FFA career, he competed in Conduct of Chapter Meetings, Job Interview, Prepared Public Speaking, and Vet Science LDEs and CDEs. Outside of the FFA, Trey has been a part of numerous state and local committees, was the National Honor Society Secretary, played competitive volleyball, choir, and was in marching band.   5. Episode 6 with Lauren Crosthwait (00:31:23)

    Lauren is a sophomore within the Stillwater FFA chapter in Oklahoma the 2023 National Models of Excellence Chapter. She is currently serving as the club president for PC Livestock 4-H. She was the 4th place finisher in the Oklahoma FFA Creed Speaking Contest, and was a state 4-H Citizenship finalist. She has won multiple national chicken shows, has had numerous showmanship awards-species wide, and was the reserve grand angus cow-calf pair at Cattleman’s Congress 2023. She has held numerous county and chapter offices in Payne County 4-H, and was the recipient of the Jordan Morris Memorial Citizenship Award. She is a 2-time Oklahoma State Agriscience Champion, a National Agriscience Champion and a 4th place finisher in the National Agriscience Fair.   6. Episode 5 with Maddie Bishop (00:43:21)

    Maddie Bishop is a sophomore within the Stillwater FFA Chapter in the state of Oklahoma. She is a state champion, state runner-up, and a National 4th place finisher within the Agriscience Fair. She has competed in Opening and Closing Ceremonies, is a competitive livestock judger and cattle grader-earning numerous awards in both contests. She was a part of the 2023 State Runner Up Ag Issues contest at OSU Interscholastics. Outside of the FFA, she is involved within her church, is an active volunteer within the community, and is a member of both Student Council and BETA Club at Stillwater High School.   7. Episode 4 with Aubrie McEndoo (00:46:45)

    Aubrie McEndoo is a senior at Stillwater High school where she is actively involved in FFA, varsity cheer, and numerous academic clubs. She is currently serving as Stillwater FFA Chapter President. Aubrie has thoroughly enjoyed her time in the FFA by participating in Ag issues, the Agriscience Fair, livestock judging and speech giving. She is a two-time state champion with her Agriscience projects, and one-time National Champion. Aubrie loves advocating for agriculture through the platform of councils. Aubrie is currently serving on the prestigious Agriculture Youth Council, where she is surrounded by like-minded peers who want to make an impact in Oklahoma. She is also serving as the Vice President for the Oklahoma Junior Cattlemen’s Association and is President of the Oklahoma Junior Club Calf Association. She has had the honor and privilege to be able to show and raise cattle in Montana and Oklahoma. She has won numerous showmanship awards statewide and nationally with her cattle. One of the most notable awards she has won was the EFFORT AWARD at Mcpeaks Be A Champ Show Camp. She is passionate about Jesus and loving those around her by doing the small things.   8. Episode 3 with Emma McLain (00:47:50)

    Emma McLain is a sophomore within the Stillwater FFA Chapter in the great state of Oklahoma. She is a state agriscience champion, state agriscience runner-up, and a 9th place finisher in the National Agriscience Fair. She is a cattle exhibitor, competed in Opening and Closing Ceremonies, and was a part of the 2nd place Ag Issues team. She is also a member of Oklahoma Club Calf Association. Outside of the FFA, Emma is a volunteer at Stillwater Medical Center and will play Stillwater High School soccer in the spring. You can find her on Instagram @emma.marie865.

  9. Episode 2 with Elle Yates (00:35:49)

    Elle Yates is a senior within the Stillwater FFA Chapter in the great state of Oklahoma. She is a Stillwater FFA Officer, and a member of the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry Youth Council. She is a 3-time state champion, a National Runner-Up, a 3rd place finisher and a National Finalist in the Agriscience Fair. She is a competitive livestock judger, and cattle grader. She is also a swine showman. She has received numerous awards within the Stillwater FFA Chapter. Outside of the FFA, Elle is involved in National Honor Society, and BETA Club, and is an active volunteer at a local non-profit organization. You can find her on Instagram @elle__yates.

  10. Episode 1 with Titus Montgomery (00:56:18)

    Titus Montgomery is a senior within the Red Oak FFA Chapter in the great state of Oklahoma. He is a member of the 2023-2024 Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry Youth Council, and a member of the 2023-2024 American Farmers and Rancher Youth Advisory Council. He was the 2023 Oklahoma FFA runner up in extemporaneous public speaking, grand champion at 2023 OSU FFA Interscholastics, and was named State Champion in intermediate Natural Resources category at the AFR Prepared Public Speaking State Contest. At the 2023 Oklahoma FFA Convention, he was named the runner up in the Agricultural Communications Proficiency Area. He exhibited the Grand and Reserve Grand Forage Boards at the Tulsa State Fair, along with the Grand Champ Native Grass Bundle in 2022. Along with holding the title of champion of FFA Agronomic Herbarium Cards in both 2022 and 2023, he exhibited the 2023 Reserve Champion Tame Forage Grass Bundle. He is the creator and host of the Brag On Ag podcast, and is the creator and host of the Southeast Oklahoma Ag Report out of EOSC Mountaineer Radio MIX 93.1.     Welcome to the All About Ag with Esther podcast! I am Esther VanOverbeke and I proudly represent the Waverly FFA Chapter in the great state of Nebraska! This is my 3rd year being enrolled in agricultural education courses. I participate in the Agriscience Fair, meats evaluation, prepared public speaking, Opening and Closing Ceremonies, and Parliamentary Procedure. I also have a blog part of this where I post food science and FFA articles and stories every week! I’m excited to have you along for the ride!
