  1. God bless America 🇺🇸 (00:23:11)

There are Armenian media outlets trying to sway your vote in the wrong direction. Trying to confuse you into thinking that one performance of a tried and true elected official is the reason why you should vote differently. That is what I call corrupt advertising. We should be very afraid of a racist and sexist in the office and worry more about convicted felons running the country than someone who is old, and didn’t “perform well”.

  2. Do the thing! (00:34:29)

Do the thing that light 💡 you up regardless of what your mother in law says or the community judgement says. Take yourself out to wherever it is you want to be. Going to events by yourself is absolutely self care like an artist date should be done by yourself. Fear not the naysayers and party poopers, have mindful fun!

  3. SCAMMED! (00:11:33)

Have you ever been scammed before? Happens to the best of us but no regrets, just moving forward and learning from the experience. I’ll still advocate for my people and for social justice and for children. I haven’t lost hope and I want everyone to know that it’s not always what it seems to be.

  4. Talk! Talk! (00:24:48)

Feel empowered to speak up about yourself and who you are. This isn’t just happening on April 24th anymore. We can speak about ourself and who Armenians are everyday!

  5. Tribute to Aghavni. (00:38:14)

Thank you for my life. I’m grateful for your tenacity, positivity and encouraging seeking spirit to live so that I could. My son and I are only here for the bravery of my badass empowered grandmother Aghavni. Buddhists believe that it all starts with the mother. This is a tribute to one such mother, the mother of my own mother, Aghavni. 109 years ago my grandparents on both sides were the victims of the genocide perpetrated by the young Turk government of 1915 in Türkiye. They are also the reason why I will never give up the fight to recognize and prevent genocides from ever happening again, even though they still do.

  6. Armenian heritage month. (00:28:22)

It’s not all what it’s cracked up to be when you’re an Armenian living in the diaspora but it’s never over. There’s always hope to do better, be better and raise that recognition expectation higher than a kite! We deserve it as women, as Armenians. Thanks you aghavni for walking through it all for me to be here today. Never a day goes by when I don’t appreciate and think about how I’m here because the Marashlian side stuck it out and cooked for the devil to stay alive, and how my moms side, my grandmother walked a million miles across the desert with a baby on her back for me to have an opportunity in this life. ❤️💙🧡

  7. Madam mayor is an Armenian! (00:29:58)

Amoters are folks that find demeaning Armenian women to be a sport. Instead of being happy an Armenian woman in the world being elected to public office they blame and shame them for political agendas of their own creation. Armenians are so used to women being shamed for speaking up and speaking out in the world and they cannot see how it brings us all down. We’ve all been “groomed” to shame and blame strong women in general in the world and it shows. Calling an intelligent woman who’s committed herself to doing the hard work “amot” is amot in and of itself. Stop this cycle of blame and shame and uplift and encourage instead. Keep your fear mongering politics out of it and keep and open mind to Armenian women public servants. Congratulations to Ellen for being the first Armenian mayor of Glendale!

  8. Turkish delights? (00:22:49)

I can’t help it! I’m a mrashsti through and through and recognize that accent like the back of my hand. Have you ever met a Turkish person that actually knew their roots? Not likely, and you’ll hear my recent interaction with a Turkish man from Adana, the birth home of my father and his family. You can’t make this stuff up of course, and I implore and empower you to always have the hard conversations and dialogues even if it feels a bit wrong to do so.

  9. Hye and mighty, life hacks for the empowered woman. (00:35:16)

Don’t sweat the small stuff that can be hacked. Your safety and empowerment is important. Life hacks for the Armenian empowered women include getting a shower stool and saving you commenting fingers for something better. On this woman’s day, march 8th, let’s save time money and energy for the bigger picture. When we encourage and come from a place of love, we are the victors in life!

  10. Multi sensory universal women! (00:52:04)

Are you a multilevel, multidimensional thinker? The universal human is here and I believe as Armenian women we’ve always had it. Do everything to preserve and nourish this space as it’s never wrong to think locally and act globally.

  11. Turning poison into medicine. (00:08:37)

Happy February and I hope you too are turning poison into medicine for the good of humanity and to stay hopeful!

  12. Be a woman of your word. (00:29:59)

Word of the year examples and stories that will motivate you to choose yours and then a look at backhanded compliments. Backhanded compliments may be coming from a source of misunderstanding and poor comprehension skills. Sometimes this is also a lost in translation issue but check yourself that it isn’t learned behavior passed down from generations past. Women have this tendency and especially Armenian women. Move forward, repair and recover and recognize the problem before it festers and gets passed down further on down the generation line.

  13. Don’t waste your time. (00:26:50)

Should you file a restraining order? I think you should hold your horses first unless it’s life threatening to you or your child, hold up! It’s a supreme waste of time and disempowering in most circumstances and here’s why. Also, happy Christmas 🎄 to you and yours and do you have a word of the year picked out yet? It’s empowering to do so, so don’t delay!

  14. Making it happen! (00:34:48)

We have a tendency to not listen to our gut instincts and think toward someone else being responsible for our own manifestations. When something wonderful has happened, chances are it is you yourself and you who has manifested that and made it happen. Listen to your self listen to what is going on around you and take action on that, embrace it and understand that you’ve made it happen! Enjoy it and let the manifestations begin!

  15. Fine tune your gut instincts. (00:32:50)

The most hurtful part about being an Armenian is feeling the aggression against you from your own kind. At a time like this when we are suffering from the news of our people forcibly displaced and ethnically cleansed, the last thing we need is to get it from our own. We should be spending time really looking out for one another and being kind. If you feel in your gut something isn’t right in the motherland, then take action, call it out and stay on top of your worth. You are worthy of respect and regard regardless of who you are and where you come from.

  16. We need to pray for world peace now more than ever before. (00:38:33)

Sorry not sorry, this is getting blunt with what’s going on right now. Please note that I am a grandchild of genocide survivor’s and I will speak up for everyone going through ethnic cleanse. I will always be on the side of the victims, not the make believe ones, but the real McCoy. I will standby and standup and stands with my Armenia and those who fight for the justice there of. It’s all of us in this world and we all must play a part in humanity. All of us are responsible for calling out the bullies so that they cannot get away with murder over and over again. Keep on praying for world peace!!

  17. Don’t back down!! (00:20:15)

How to stay empowered during a genocide? Here are some tips and tricks to stay the course and keep on frighting the good fight for humanity. Meeshed hye bidi mnank! 💪❤️💙🧡

  18. Step it up! (00:28:24)

August is kind of a rebirth of sorts for me, the end of a school vacation year and coming upon a new one. Taking on new challenges but we also need to stay in the empowered flow. Stay convicted to our goals and creativity. Let’s take some action and do these things to us steady and moving forward. Walk, write, talk and wash. I know the last one is interesting but you’ll be surprised!

  19. The professor is in. (00:52:34)

Emotionally and mentally abusive behavior produces emotionally and mentally ill individuals. The professor is in is about these things that make us feel less than our super powers we know we already have. When you bring something important to the table and it’s squashed upon hearing it, it sends a message to all that you don’t matter. Insulting behavior needs to stop because it produces emotionally and mentally damaged individuals. Be better than that!

  20. Pride and prejudice. (00:55:22)

Happy pride month! Here’s why; all Armenians should be included and all students should be openly educated about our lgbtq community. It’s the right side of history and right thing to do to appreciate all humans. No one is turning your kids this way or that, only educating on the facts of life. Nothing more, nothing less. Kids deserve to know the truth. When they know truth from trusted adults like parents teachers and clergy, they will express and give us truth back. Enjoy and celebrate this month of June for everyone!

  21. No doubt you’re a rockstar! (00:37:21)

No doubly and single mothers have much to do with each other. Women in general are doubters because of what society puts on us to feel, but add to that the stigma of a single mother, weather by choice or not, and you’ve got trouble! People need to park their doubts about themselves at the door! Trust yourself and be free of the rhetoric against you,

  22. Gender equity is a no brainer! (00:37:21)

Armenian women or any women have no time to lose on easing their girls and boys to respect themselves. We are all meant to go to space, wash dishes, develop vaccines and drive fast cars. This isn’t the 1950’s but some try to keep that sentiment going. Empowered Armenians have no time to lose in the efforts to raise our girls to feel empowered in all aspects of life. Turn chee gareli to ayo! Garogh es!

  23. Flex the self confidence muscle with pride! (00:25:09)

Any which way we can get confidence is a must for a healthful empowered life! Keep it working in your life by fleeting that muscle daily. Self confidence is your right and your freedom to move around the planet with joy. Here are a few tips to gaining control of your own self confidence and take charge of your life!

  24. Stay convicted to winning! (00:11:42)

Even as our people in arstahk suffer under the hands of a genocidal campaigning country, we can still win!let’s stand up and stay strong during this time and spread awareness everywhere about this so that history doesn’t repeat itself. Survive and thrive on!

  25. Happy new year of financial wellness! (00:45:31)

I’m taking preparation and planning here and you’ll also get to hear Lina’s story of how she wants everyone to learn from her mishaps along the way to wealth and happiness. I don’t believe money makes you happy but it does make choices easier. Choose wisely and listen to this!
