- Tapping, scraping on a plastic baked potato take out box (00:11:53)
The trigger I'm using for this episode is a plastic take out box - the type you might find a baked potato in. It's on the shorter side time wise, Please consider supporting this podcast at www.patreon.com/asmrsounds so that I can afford the manicure and acrylic nails to tap on things for you. This nail and tapping habit adds up! Thanks for listening to ASMR Sounds with Ann
- Trickling water from a stream (00:39:18)
The trigger I'm using today is the recording I did of a winter stream and the water trickling down. I hope that you enjoy it.
- Back and forth on the microphone - with the pet lint brush (00:29:05)
The last episode I did - I had ended with my plastic bristle pet lint brush and I was doing it back and forth over the microphone head. I liked it so much I decided to do an episode with just that one brush. If you like what you are hearing, please consider supporting the podcast at https://www.patreon.com/ASMRSounds
- Hodgepodge of stuff - wooden bowl and brushes (00:17:19)
I recorded several episodes in my car today - so I just grabbed a few things to use. I grabbed a wooden bowl - almost heart shaped and would be the size of a salad or cereal bowl. Then I have what would be a soft dish scrubbing brush, another one that is made of plastic bristles, and the third one is classified as a pet lint brush - but is also made of plastic bristles. I liked that last one so much- I ended up making another episode of it by itself. I use the brushes next to the microphone and sometimes right on the microphone. - I love my rainstick (00:12:29)
The trigger this episode is the rainstick. I believe this rainstick has been in my house for at least 20-30 years - I'm thinking my parents either brought it home from a cruise or my mom from Mexico when she was doing a class project trip for her nursing bachelors degree in the 1990's. I love the sound the rainstick makes. I did a little tapping at the beginning but really just a few seconds. The majority is just moving the stick back and forth so it makes the rain sound. - I gave myself permission to rip pages out of a book (00:13:54)
This trigger was super satisfying. I took a book I wasn't using and ripped pages out of it. Then those pages got ripped into strips and then into pieces. I ended up with a pile of paper in my lap. - Tapping by the dashboard lights (00:06:58)
Okay - I was being corny there - nodding to Meatloaf... This episode was recorded not by the dashboard lights, but on the dashboard and the steering wheel. I often find myself tapping while I'm at a traffic light so since I was recording some other episodes today in my car... well - I tapped for real for all of you.
