- The Importance Of Peer Support with Laura Mears Reynolds (00:42:48)
October is ADHD Awareness month and what better way to kick things off than a chat with the Queen of the Leopard Print Army, Laura Mears Reynolds, about the importance of peer support. Laura started up the ADHDAF+ charity in order to connect and empower late diagnosed people of marginalised genders in the UK and form peer support groups. I know how important peer support can be after growing up in a world that's geared towards neurotypical people. Also… she taught me how to do links!! 🫶🐆🫡🎖️Find your local ADHDAF+ peer support group here!Find out more about ADHDAF Day and donate to the Just Giving page here!Buy your ADHDAF Day pin (with £7.50 from the sale of each pin going to the chazza!) here!Send me your little wins so I can celebrate you on the podcast by either sliding into my DMs here or email me at audhdorjustabitweird@gmail.com
- Sex & Relationships with Sam Brown (00:45:14)
She’s back! The queen of chaos returns! Sam Brown, or Mrs AuDHD as you may know her, is back on the podcast and originally were going to talk about how sex is affected by our neurodivergence, but shockingly enough we got distracted and went off on a some fun tangents about relationships, gender and trying to look at things from other people’s perspectives. Molly Siobhan Parker is a super talented neurodivergent actor and film maker who has created a short film called “I’m Autistic & Also That B!tch” that will hopefully be released by the end of this year. I caught up with Molly to discuss her late diagnosis, what inspired her to make the film and why Asperger’s is no longer a name we use when describing asd. https://www.instagram.com/imautisticfilmSend me your little wins so I can celebrate you on the podcast!Audhdorjustabitweird@gmail.com
- Clear & Cheer with Gemma Louise (00:47:14)
As all listeners of the podcast know, one of my biggest hurdles that affects me in so many ways is the state of my house. Check out the Mucky F**ker episode for more background on that! But then I discovered an instagram profile called Clear & Cheer that's run by a declutterer called Gemma Louise who works along side neurodivergent people helping them sort through the chaos in their homes and restore some order. Gemma was great to chat with and definitely gave me more than a few handy hints on how to reclaim a bit of order in my house and hopefully you can gain some too!www.instagram.com/clearandcheerSend me your Little Wins so I can celebrate you on the podcast!www.instagram.com/audhdorjustabitweirdaudhdorjustabitweird@gmail.comAnd there's still time to donate to the Big ADHD Fundraiser where 11 intrepid leopard print lycra clad lovelies cycled 288 miles across Scotland, Wales and England from August 1st - 3rd to raise money for ADHD Adult UK and ADHDAF+ charities, two charities I hold very dear to my own heart.https://givestar.io/gs/the-big-adhd-fundraiser-2025
- Neurodiversity in The Workplace with Rachel Morgan-Trimmer (00:47:12)

Founder of Firebird, the consultancy making workplaces kinder and more inclusive for everyone, Rachel draws on her own journey as an autistic and ADHD advocate to break down barriers and spark honest conversation. Author of "How to Be Autistic," a supportive guide for the newly diagnosed, and creator of the brilliantly titled TEDx talk "Inclusion Is Selfish," Rachel challenges us to see neurodivergence as a source of strength, and busts myths with a warmth and irreverence that sticks. - Thriving with Charlotte Ashley (01:01:38)
After giving up smoking I started finding dopamine hits in sweet treats, that mixed with a total lack of exercise led to weight gain and feeling unhealthy, both physically and mentally. A few months ago I finally started to take hold of my physical health and make some slow and steady positive changes so I was really keen to get a neurodivergent person who works in this area on the podcast… and thanks to my own wonderful PT, I was put in touch with strength and consistency coach and all round amazing human being Charlotte Ashley. Charlotte has her own coaching program called THRV focussing on “nervous system first coaching for meltdowny, chaotic brains”We had an awesome chat and I definitely feel I gained a ton of helpful information from someone who really understands the difficulties of staying physically and mentally healthy with a neurodivergent brainFor all things Charlotte related:https://linktr.ee/coached_by_charlotteashleySend me your little wins so I can celebrate you on the podcast!Audhdorjustabitweird@gmail.comOr side into my dms on instahttps://www.instagram.com/audhdorjustabitweird/ And there's still time to donate to the Big ADHD Fundraiser where 11 intrepid leopard print lycra clad lovelies cycled 288 miles across Scotland, Wales and England from August 1st - 3rd to raise money for ADHD Adult UK and ADHDAF+ charities, two charities I hold very dear to my own heart.https://givestar.io/gs/the-big-adhd-fundraiser-2025

- Exposure Therapy with Nicole Nadler (01:07:22)
I was first made aware of the amazing Nicole Nadler by the Queen of the Leopard Print Army herself, Laura Mears Reynolds from ADHDAF and I was thrilled when she agreed to come on the podcast to talk about her experience of ADHD diagnosis in her thirties and how she's accidentally signed up to do the Edinburgh Fringe for the third year running! I had a brilliant time chatting with Nicole. She's insightful, super engaging and really bloody funny! - Baking & Booze with The Scatty Baker (00:46:05)
In this week's episode I had the pleasure of catching up with my mate Danielle, The Scatty Baker, whose brilliant and often hilarious gluten free baking videos can be found on Youtube and Instagram. We had planned to talk about ADHD and baking but in true ADHD tangentastic style we ended up covering all sorts of topics like caffeine, anxiety and binge drinking. Trigger warning: This week's episode has mentions of some subjects some people may find upsetting including alcohol misuse, childhood trauma and sexual abuseFollow Danielle and check out her awesome baking videoshttps://www.youtube.com/@TheScattyBakerhttps://www.instagram.com/thescattybaker/Don't forget, it's not too late to donate to The Big ADHD Fundraiser by clicking the link belowhttps://givestar.io/gs/the-big-adhd-fundraiser-2025?fbclid=PAZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAacRNwOxyAdwBTzNocrcdYXJAZkVdhpzM89KHr1MxC-XzIALATR-IA1rPujYLg_aem_NH0-Uk4IuoCq3Dv6gXxEuwSend me your little wins by either commenting on this episode, emailing me at audhdorjustabitweird@gmail.com or by sliding into my dms on instagram https://www.instagram.com/audhdorjustabitweird/
- The Big ADHD Fundraiser 2025 with Darren Smith (00:57:07)
Darren Smith is a pretty inspirational person! He's the man responsible for The Big ADHD Fundraiser, which is in its third year of raising funds for various ADHD charities. In this episode Darren talks to me about his experience of neurodivergent diagnosis later in life and what lead him to getting together a gang of cycling heroes to cycle hundreds of miles all in the name of ADHD!This year the money raised by Darren and the rest of the team will be going to two charities very close to my heart, ADHDAdultUK and ADHDAF+Any amount of donation helps... as my mum used to say "Look after the pennies and the pounds look after themselves!"To donate.... https://givestar.io/gs/the-big-adhd-fundraiser-2025?fbclid=PAQ0xDSwLSYJNleHRuA2FlbQIxMAABpwKxzsM3DeJ6gKDw4URw6F3qu6Q4xJE3eyLr0TfLGIba_H2CGOJLPSmplDEm_aem_o2-8RY6BO_xYpCi2cJFKfg
- AuDHD Coach Meghann Birks Part 2 (01:05:21)
I'm back this week with the second half of my super informative chat with the awesome Meghann Birks. In this week's episde Meghann talks about all things AuDHD and gives some vital advice on reframing the things we say to build on our self belief. The usual triggers warnings apply to this episode because we do tackle a couple of tricky topicsAlso, starting this week, I want to celebrate your small things that are actually big wins! Too often we struggle with daily tasks that would seem like a small thing to a neurotypical person, yet we struggle to do them. When we do finally manage to do them I think we need to get some praise because actually it's genuinely a BIG WIN! You can send your "small thing, big win" to me by sliding into my DMs on instagram instagram.com/audhdorjustabitweird or by emailing me at audhdorjustabitweird@gmail.com
- AuDHD coach Meghann Birks Part 1 (00:50:36)
Meghann Birks is an AuDHD Jack of all Trades, Master of Some. Her resume could be used as an example of what neurodivergence might look like in women with experience in a huge variety of industries including academia, community development, non-profit, corporate, fitness, performance, art and comedy. She currently works as a Certified Professional Coach and Embodiment Educator, specialising in helping neurodivergent folk in leadership positions and creating neuroaffirming work cultures. She believes that deep, transformative work can be both silly and powerful, and that the life changing power of Hold On by Wilson Phillips is seriously underestimated. I'm super excited to share this first half of my chat with Meghann, she is a fascinating, informed and super funny person who shared so much with me from coaching, life experience and raw dogging life unmedicated to cross fit and how movement is so important! As usual this episode comes with the usual trigger warnings but hopefully people can gain from everything Meghann and I talk about over the next two episodes.Buckle up and enjoy!
- AuDHD... or just a Chatty Cathy...? (00:11:28)
I've always been a Chatty Cathy, and sometimes to my detriment... In this episode, I share my personal experiences as someone who often talks a mile a minute, impulsively interrupts like a pro and sometimes says the weirdest things at the most unexpected times.Full disclaimer, I'm two weeks into a nasty chest infection so this week's episode is not only slightly late but also slightly shorter than I would have liked. 🤒🏥I hope what I've got to say still resonates with you and helps in some way.
- AuDHD... with Mrs AuDHD, Sam Brown! Part 1 (00:50:41)
This episode I'm joined by the queen of chaos herself, Mrs AuDHD, Sam Brown from the ADHD Adults podcast! Sam and I talked about our ADHD traits and our ASD traits and how they clash and can be confusing and exhausting. There are some funny moments, some serious moments, brief mentions of drug use and the usual trigger warnings apply. I haven't talked in too much depth yet about my autistic traits so I really appreciate Sam creating a safe place for me to do this.I was so excited to have Sam on as a guest and I'm incredibly grateful for her giving up her time to talk to me and for being so open and honest. Of course, we chatted for ages so this is part one of a two parter.Buckle up and enjoy the ride!
- AuDHD... With Mrs AuDHD, Sam Brown! Part 2 (00:50:51)
It's the second part of my chat with te queen of chaos herself, Mrs AuDHD, Sam Brown from The ADHD Adults podcast and this week we cover all sorts of topics from food to knowing when you need a wee! The usual trigger warnings apply today and there are brief mentions of drug use.Again, I'm super grateful to Sam for giving up her time to talk all things AuDHD with me!Enjoy!
- AuDHD... or just a flakey friend...? (00:14:20)
Keeping hold of friendships throughout my life has always felt tougher than it should be and often felt like an unreliable friend. Over the past couple of years I've started to understand why and what I can do about it to maintain the friendships I've got and also how to avoid the friendships that maybe aren't worth maintaining.
- What do I wish my parents did differently...? (00:22:15)
I had a message recently from a listener whose son has been diagnosed with ADHD, asking me what I wish my parents had done differently if I had been diagnosed as neurodivergent in childhood. As my parents are no longer around, it has taken me a while to be ok with releasing this as they aren't here to give their version of events or weigh in on what I'm saying. I do, however, think my childhood could have been a happier one had they have known about my neurodivergence and done things differently. Hopefully this episode can help any parents of neurodivergent children tweak the language they use with their children and the expectations they may have of them.
- AuDHD... or just Really Shit Daydreams with Laura Mears-Reynolds Part 2 (00:48:37)
I'm back with the second part of my interview with ADHD activist and all round amazing human being, Laura Mears-Reynolds from ADHDAF podcast, ADHDAF Emporium and ADHDAF+ charity talking Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria. We talk about some emotional things because of the episode topic to listener discretion is advised. Thanks again to Laura for giving me so much of her valuable time and for making this a super special couple of episodes.Also…. 3 years ago today the very first episode of Laura’s awesome and inspirational podcast ADHDAF launched! So a very happy birthday to ADHDAF and a bloody huge congratulations to Laura! 🎉🥳🎂For more information on all things connected to LauraLinktr.ee/LauraMearsReynolds
- AuDHD... or just Really Shit Daydreams with Laura Mears-Reynolds Part 1 (00:53:26)
After a brief break to reset, I'm back! This is the first of a 2 part special where I managed to get one of my dream guests on to talk with me about one of the ADHD traits that has affected me the most negatively throughout my life, rejection sensitive dysphoria.Laura Mears-Reynolds is the host of ADHDAF podcast, the co-director of ADHDAF Emporium and the founder of ADHDAF+ charity and has been inspirational to me since I first started off on this ADHD safari two years ago. Laura and I are very much on the same wavelength so this is probably the most ADHD episode I've recorded yet! We swear like troopers, go off on tons of tangents and discuss some pretty tough topics. I loved every minute of it and I hope you do too!For more information on all things Laura...linktr.ee/LauraMearsReynolds
- Shared care or right to choose...? (00:19:41)
Following on from last week's episode where I basically slated the entire NHS ADHD assessment/diagnosis process and how un-neurodivergent friendly the entire process is, I actually have a positive update! I have a new GP and a new pathway and hopefully this one won't be putting me into debt! There's also a fun tangent about my recent trip to France, my first experience of personal training and whether I'll be moving forwards with an autism assessment in the future. For more information on the nhs right to choose pathway:https://adhduk.co.uk/right-to/choose/
- The first f**king form…! (00:28:17)
No trait talk this week. Instead I wanted to talk about part of the process of seeking ADHD/AuDHD assessment and diagnosis through the nhs, the first f**king form! Forms are something I really struggle to complete and its just one of the parts of this whole process that I feel is horribly neurodivergent unfriendly. Trigger warning, this episode briefly mentions subjects that some people may find upsetting, including drug/alcohol misuse, disordered eating, self harm and sexual assaultIf you have been affected by any of the topics discussed in this episode please remember you are never alone and it's important to seek help and advice https://www.samaritans.org
