In this episode of Aus Amateurs our hosts Adam, Stan, Matt and Louis have guests Centaine Scott and Jade Attard on. We start by discussing the top 5 from the Mis Olympia Bikini, diving into the changes within the category, our thoughts on where they are heading and if Australia will follow with these changes. We then move into the experiences of the girls at the Amateur Olympia in Vegas where they competed. We asked them about how they did their peak week, feedback they received, how it compared to Australian shows and what was good / bad about the it. From here we wanted to find out how they went with traveling overseas to compete finding out how long before they competed they arrived in Vegas, how they managed their food over there, what they devoured post comp and the most bizarre thing to happen to them over there. Next we wanted to find out how they structure their reverse diet, how they deal with crazy post comp cravings and body dysmorphia and how they deal with it. To finish off we all discuss the male open bodybuilding Mr Olympia, we discuss what direction the Mr Olympia is going in, where we had everyone placing after pre judging and the difference in the structures, shape, conditioning, muscle mass that each of the top 5 brought to stage. This was an awesome podcast and a real eye opener to see where the 6 podcast members see the direction of the two most popular bodybuilding categories are heading. Adam and Stan were in the overall line up for Nationals 2022 Matt Orchard won his pro card in the classic division Louis won the QLD u100 title After our backgrounds we dive into the purpose of this podcast and what we all want to bring to it and you our viewers, we then breifly discuss season A and some upcoming Aussie athletes. We then move into giving our top 10 Mr Olympia predictions. No suprise, all 4 of them had very different opinions. We then finish off with a hilerious story from Stan when he almost got into a PUNCH ON with PHIL HEATH!! We look forward to our future podcasts were we will be interviewing upcoming Aussie amateur athletes preparing for next years competitions.
