Located at the south end of Kingsland Road in Shoreditch, Basing House is an intimate, 300 capacity venue that opened in 2010. Basing House operates a late-license, opening each Friday and Saturday – with occasional Thursday events. A large volume of external promoters and labels curate the venues music programme. Basing House’s sound is supplied by Funktion-One and also features a roof terrace, which doubles as its smoking area. Friday and Saturday play host to house, disco and techno events.

False Symmetry is a UK-based drum and bass DJ and producer known for a multi-genre approach; he blends DnB, jungle, neuro, electronic, and rock influences into his music. Starting as a self-taught guitarist, he transitioned into electronic music production and attended the DnB Academy.
His sound is characterized by a fusion of raw energy and emotion, combining breakbeats with distorted riffs that live "at the crossroads of chaos and craft".
False Symmetry has released tracks on various labels and has been featured in free download series. He is also associated with the label Keen Eye Audio, where he has released music and serves as the owner.
Hosted at Basing House Shoreditch on Saturday 20th December from 2pm - 9pm. Leading the festive charge is Posk, delivering heavyweight riddims; supported by a stacked line-up of talented DJs & MCs from across the UK. Yazmin C is a rising DJ, vocalist, and producer hailing from Manchester. Known for her revolutionary switches, subliminal doubles, and unique mixing style, she keeps the energy tightly-packed throughout her sets with an eclectic mix of remix and original tracks spanning jump up and 4x4 drum and bass, to dark rollers and dancefloor.
With just under 2 years since her first show, she's played for events such as The Warehouse Project, HomeBass, Tearout Festival, Hit & Run and many more, as well as supporting some of the biggest names in the industry, including Hedex, Turno, Bou, Aries, A Little Sound, Sota, Sub Zero, and Kaz.
Back in Manchester, Yazmin holds residencies for Off The Bloc and Bloc2Bloc, as well as working behind the scenes to push out content, new releases, and upcoming events for the brand. She's also created a subsidiary of Off The Bloc called "Energy", which aims to get more women involved in the industry by offering free DJ lessons and sets to upcoming female DJs and producers.
