- Da Chicago Bears beat the Houston Texans 23-20! (00:23:26)
Da Bears move to 2-1 as they beat the Texans on a last second Santos FG. Now 2-1 on the season and as we know in the NFL, a win is a win! Fields still has a lot of room to grow but the running game was spectacular with 281 yards rushing. Roquan and BoJax were great on D. Da Bears visit the NY Giants next Sunday, looking to go 3-1 on the young season. Flipka gives a Ktown warning on a local watering hole as we congratulate two of the most recent Carthage Athletics HOF inductees. Da Bears fall to 1-1 as they once again lose to their rival Green Bay. Aaron Rodgers is now 24-5 against da beloved. Something has to change and we feel this regime is on the right track, but are unsure on Fields. Will he be the long term solution for the Chicago Bears at QB? The highlight on offense was the performance of Montgomery and Herbert, combining for 160 yards on 19 carries. On defense, Gipson played lights out in the first half and the unit only gave up 3 points in the second half. Overall, tackling must improve! The Texans are up next, providing an opportunity to go 2-1. Finally, we get into blackstone-gate as CZ evaluates his "pompous ass" labeling of Walker. Da Bears face off against their arch nemesis, the Green Bay Packers, tonight. Aaron Rodgers proclaimed, "I still own you" a few weeks back in Chicago. With his 22-5 record against Da Beloved, it is hard to dispute. Can the Bears use this as motivation? Justin Fields gets his first taste of the rivalry in Lambeau. Very important for the young QB to experience this and show leadership. Rumors continue to swirl over the future of Chicago Bears' management, with Trace Armstrong's name as top management being floated. Supposedly, he spoke with Bears brass this week and is tied to Ohio State HC Ryan Day, as his agent. We feature Door County Brewery in Baileys Harbor, WI.
