The Disappearing Man in the Desert
Our first story comes from David, who was working border patrol on a narcotics and human trafficking assignment near a river in the American Southwest.
During what should have been a quiet night shift, David and his partner experienced something that would shake them both—three deliberate, hard knocks on their Humvee's driver's side window, despite no one being visible on their cameras or in the surrounding area.
Our second story takes us to the California desert near the Mexican border, where Nevada and their family were on a routine jeeping trip in 2011. What started as a casual outing to take photos turned surreal when they witnessed a figure in a jumpsuit and motorcycle helmet falling from the sky with a half-inflated parachute, the body appearing limp and lifeless.
Nevada's uncle, an EMT, grabbed his first aid kit and rushed to help, but when the family reached the spot where the parachuter should have landed behind a rock formation, they found only an abandoned parachute disconnected from any backpack—no person, no blood, no footprints, and no explanation for how someone could vanish so completely in the open desert.
Finally, we explore Grace's harrowing experience in her coastal Rhode Island home, where light paranormal activity escalated dramatically when she turned 16, leading to a two-year ordeal involving severe depression, an eating disorder, and what her father believed was possession or oppression.
Grace found herself compelled to sneak downstairs every night at midnight and sit frozen in the darkness until 3 AM, experiencing memory gaps and behaviors she couldn't explain—all while her family struggled with how to help her escape whatever had taken hold in their century-old house.

About the Flatwoods Monster
On September 12, 1952, two brothers and their friend witnessed a bright object cross the sky and land on a local farm in Flatwoods, West Virginia, prompting them to investigate the site with family members and neighbors.
The group encountered a tall, man-like figure described as approximately 10 feet tall with a round, blood-red face, a pointed hood-like shape, glowing eye-like features emitting greenish-orange light, and small claw-like hands. When the creature made a hissing sound and moved toward them, the terrified witnesses fled the scene, later reporting a pungent mist that caused nausea in some members of the group.
While local law enforcement found no evidence during their investigation, claims of skid marks and an unusual gummy deposit at the site the following day fueled speculation about a UFO landing among enthusiast groups. The incident generated massive national media attention, with the story ranking as the 11th biggest news story of 1952 and drawing investigators from across the country, including prominent UFO researchers Gray Barker and Ivan T. Sanderson.

Our second story comes from Charis and her grandmother in North Carolina, who dealt with a baby doll that continued crying and laughing despite having no batteries—until Charis hit it in frustration and muttered "stupid doll," causing every light and the TV to shut off instantaneously while the air grew thick and heavy.
The final encounter involves Marissa from Texas whose family's 2013 Halloween party decorations included what her father called a "fake" Ouija board in their exorcist-themed guest room, which seemed to summon a faceless Woman in White with long black hair who appeared in dreams, touched guests with freezing hands, and eventually threatened Marissa's father with a baking tray while radiating joy at their fear.

Mothman is a legendary humanoid creature reportedly seen in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, between November 1966 and December 1967, described by witnesses as a seven-foot-tall figure with glowing red eyes and large wings that pursued vehicles while making screeching sounds.
The phenomenon began when two couples reported encountering the creature near a former WWII munitions plant, sparking widespread media coverage and numerous additional sightings throughout the region.
Following the December 15, 1967, collapse of the Silver Bridge and the death of 46 people,[16] the incident gave rise to the legend and connected the Mothman sightings to the bridge collapse.
Wildlife experts believe the Mothman legend likely originated from misidentified sandhill cranes or herons that had wandered outside their normal migration routes, as these birds match the physical descriptions and possess naturally reddish coloring around their eyes.

According to local lore, the doctor began operating on the girl's appendix before the anesthesia took effect, and she died on his operating table from blood loss.

The episode takes a personal turn as we share our own experiences from investigating the house for two hours the day before this live recording. We discuss what happened when our group used the Estes Method and spirit box equipment during our investigation, including multiple people hearing the same disturbing growl, our skeptical friend Parker getting mysteriously scratched, and the eerie responses we received when asking questions about what lurks in the attic and basement.

Haunted Schools: Part 1 (00:58:26)
This week, we dive into the dark hallways and shadowy corners of America's most haunted schools just as students head back to class.
We explore two particularly eerie Schools: Pocatello High School in Idaho, where urban legends tell of a tragic suicide pact from the 1940s-50s that left one girl hanging from the top lockers (which were subsequently removed), and a ghostly wet child who supposedly drowned in the school's former pool.
