In this episode, Jesse & Justin discuss the recent trades in the NHL. Also, they breakdown the first month of the NHL season for all 31 teams. They discuss how each team has been playing, and if they should or need to, make any changes. They discuss why certain players have been slower and or faster than others, and tell us the most important thing, for all teams. That is, to stay patient. Be patient, as the NHL juggles the season, as it has been flip-flopped by the Covid-19 pandemic. In this episode, Jesse speaks with Theoren "Theo" Fleury. Theo is a former NHL player that was active for 15 seasons. Drafted in the 8th round of the 1987 NHL Entry Draft, Theo was given little hope that he would go far with his career. Lacking in size, Theo wasn't sure about what was to come, but he was ready to put in the work. In this episode, Jesse talks with Davis Pennington, a 19-year-old currently playing for Muskegon of the USHL. He has recently committed to UNOMAHA (University Of Nebraska-Omaha) and will begin to play there next season. The two discuss Davis' own story, and at the same time, dive deeper into the world of Junior (and soon-to-be) collegiate hockey. The University of Nebraska-Omaha hockey team is Division 1, and finished (or is currently) 14-17-5 overall. Although disappointing this season, they will surely bounce back next season, with the addition of Davis and his talents!

In this episode, Jesse speaks with another collegiate hockey player, allowing Declan Carlile to share a little bit of his story. Declan is a defenseman for Merrimack College or the Merrimack Warriors. He is a potential draft prospect for this year, but a later one at that. Although his age may be a factor in the possibility of him being drafted, it has happened. Declan has shown his skills throughout the years, but will it be enough to carry him into a whole new level of hockey? We think so!
