Process Engineering -> Software Development (00:53:04)
Today on Black Box, we chat with a fellow Stony Brook alumni Brian Clark about his career transition. Brian went to Stony Brook for Mechanical Engineering, but after graduating and working as a Process Engineer for some time the career trajectory didn't align with his long term goals. After some research and weighing of possibilities Brian decided to enter a Software Development Bootcamp, which is a program that lasts for ~3-4 Months and teaches you all the skills you will need to essentially become an effective Software Engineer.
