On December 25th 2020, the Garland County Sheriff's Department responded to a 911 call about a body lying in the road. Upon arrival police found 18 year old Ethan Mathis of hot springs Arkansas unresponsive. It appeared that Ethan had suffered from multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. Currently there are no suspects and no leads on the person responsible for Ethan's murder. A 50,000 dollar reward has been put up for any information leading to an arrest and conviction. As The Mathis family quickly approaches the 1 year anniversary of his death, they hope to get some answers on what happened to 18 year old Ethan Mathis.
