From 1925 to his death in 1926, the great escapologist and illusionist Harry Houdini conducts a tireless campaign against fake mediums. It’s 1885, in Richmond, Virginia. The body of a young, pregnant woman is found floating in the city’s old reservoir. At first, the coroner thinks she died by suicide.
